Physiotherapy
Doctor of Physical Therapy
I offer a proactive approach to physical therapy, conducting comprehensive full-body assessments to pinpoint and address your specific areas of concern. I ensure that issues like a hip problem stemming from an ankle restriction are identified and treated effectively. This concept, known as regional interdependence, highlights how interconnected our body's systems are. My aim is to restore your mobility and function swiftly, helping you return to full activity as quickly as possible.

03
Manual Therapy Mobilizations

Physical therapists are trained in joint mobilization, a technique akin to chiropractic adjustments. However, my approach to joint mobilization differs in theory and application from chiropractic methods. Rather than focusing on putting bones or joints "back in place," I emphasize alleviating movement restrictions using either slow, rhythmic mobilizations or faster, quick mobilizations to enhance joint mobility. Mobilizing joints can lead to reduced muscle tension, decreased inflammation, and improved overall mobility.
04
Dry Needling
Dry Needling involves inserting a thin monofilament needle, similar to those used in acupuncture, into a trigger point. This technique often elicits a twitch response, which signifies rapid muscle tension release. It is effective for a diverse range of conditions such as headaches and plantar fasciitis. If you are experiencing pain or dysfunction due to muscle tension, Dry Needling can be highly beneficial for you.

05
Rehabilitation
Your partner in rehabilitation

Recovering from surgery or a significant injury can often be a lengthy process, spanning weeks to months. Our cash-based model differs from traditional therapy, which typically prescribes three sessions per week for six to twelve weeks. Despite this difference, we are committed to being a valuable partner in your recovery journey.
Insurance limitations often restrict the number of covered visits in traditional therapy. If you are not 100% yet, you can visit us weekly or even monthly. During these sessions, we'll create a personalized plan for you to continue independently at home.
If you feel your current rehabilitation lacks the hands-on attention you need, you can continue your exercises with your current therapist and supplement with visits to us for additional manual therapy.
Let us support you with flexible, personalized care tailored to your recovery needs.

Complex and Chronic Pain
Reducing diverse types of chronic pain
Chronic pain lasting more than a few months significantly impacts both physical and mental health. Patients with complex issues often consult multiple providers in search of relief. Treating chronic and complex pain demands specialized skills. I thrive on solving challenging puzzles, identifying the source of your pain, and collaboratively creating a tailored plan. This approach empowers patients to understand their bodies better, achieving pain relief and maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle.
